I wanted to respond to one of your articles written about a year ago”The Demise Of Nations” by Samuel Ashwood.
I stumbled upon it by accident one day and could not help but laugh at the futile fallaciousness of the artile. First of all the United States have never been christian (Hence the seperation of church and state) even in its beginings.
The true purpose for the war for independence was so that a few wealthy men (the founding fathers) could sell their products freely in global markets, so to speak ,and make gobs of money not start a so called christian nation. Among many things I could also mention the america’s 250 year attribution to the slave trade (note that buying being a consumer of a product in this case slaves is attributing in its perpetuence thus attributing to its production) and also the violent coercion of Native americans just does not sound very christian to me. So i guess my question is, How can a nation turn from God when it has never been Godly to begin with. To me it seems that your comments and reference to bible verses implies that you believe that that this nation was once a christian nation, if this is the case then you need to study american history a little better. If this is not the case than your presuming to know God’s mind is astounding to me. How do you know that God is going to Judge America out of his wrath. It has always been funny to me that christians see a person they consider to be a fellow christian hurt or in troble they say “oh God is just testing him with trials” but if they see someone they consider ungodly they say that God is punishing him in his anger. That confounds how some christians think they can read the almighty’s mind. As to the constant reference to old testament books I don’t understand. How to you know which old testament scriptures to adhere to in today’s society it does not make since to me. Why don’t we adhere to all the Leviticus Laws and such, I mean that’s just plain idiotic. Your Logic is faltering because you posses no logic Samuel. Next you will start condemning every christian denomination you please because you are a fundamentalist. And finally your worship of John Calvin’s theocratic veiws and of his butchery of people who he considered pagan witches is furthur eveidence of your fundametal mind set.
